9 Southern Halt is a stunning three bedroom lodge with breathtaking countryside views. Located in the village of Dobwalls, this is the perfect peaceful get away for those looking for a tranquil break.
Inside, 9 Southern Halt has a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area which becomes flooded with natural light through the double doors leading to the decking area. This open plan area is the perfect place to put up your feet, relax and take in the spectacular views.
All three bedrooms are furnished with a modern and contemporary feel, providing the perfect environment for a peaceful night’s sleep. With comfortable beds in a secluded setting, you’ll be feeling fully rejuvenated after your stay
Outside, the lodge has its own decked terrace area which is a great spot to take in the beautiful scenery. There is also a private hot tub, great for watching the sun set in the relaxing surroundings.
Southern Halt may be a peaceful and secluded resort, but it is located three miles west of Liskeard and just twelve miles away from the historic fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, meaning there are plenty of places to visit should you wish to get out and explore. For those looking to escape cooking on holiday, why not take a short trip to Southern Halt’s sister site, Stonerush Lakes? Here you’ll find the Old Mill Bar and Restaurant where you can enjoy some of the local area’s finest produce while overlooking the scenic lake.
Please note that this lodge is based on a site that is couple and family orientated. Due to this, the site will require ages for all guests.

I regularly stay in Cornwall in lodge type accommodation, probably 3 times per year. This is by far the highest quality and most luxurious feel, with amazing views from endless windows, and a roomy private hot tub on your decking area. We will definitely be staying here again, and loved it so much will also be considering investing in one! I have already recommended this lodge to several friends and colleagues.

My family and I recently got back from Southern Halt and had the most brilliant time. I travelled with my husband, 4 month old, my husband's brother and sister-in-law and his mum and stepdad. The cottage was decorated beautifully and was extremely clean. It was very well equipped with everything we could have needed for the long weekend, including a travel coy and high chair. The only thing that would make the cottage better in terms of facilities would be if there was wi-Fi as we had quite poor phone signal and struggled to use our phones to research the local area. Having said that there was a lot of information left in the cottage with regards to things to do and see. We had a great time and enjoyed spending the evenings in the private hot tub! The whole complex is very well done and where it is still a small complex (only 4 out of 15 lodges built) it feels like you have your very own piece of Cornwall. We have already booked to come back with my side of the family next May! We had a brilliant time.

The cabin has great facilities, they are cleaned to a very high standard and well decorated throughout. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a short break in the uk, as it's a home away from home in the beautiful Cornish countyside.
