8 Horizon View is a lovely three bedroom lodge set amongst the wonderful Cornish countryside. Located in the village of Dobwalls and set back from the hussle and bustle of everyday life, this is the perfect place to forget it all.
Inside, 8 Horizon View is furnished to the highest possible standard with solid wood furniture and quality fixtures and fittings. The open plan living, kitchen and dining area has huge French doors leading out to the terrace and is extremely bright throughout the day. This is an ideal space whether you’re looking to cook and enjoy a family meal, or put your feet up with a good book and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Outside, the lodge has a spacious decked terrace which is a great spot for eating outside in the fresh air. You even have your own private hot tub. Why not take a dip, take in the stunning natural surroundings and enjoy a true feeling of rest and relaxation.
Southern Halt may be a peaceful and secluded resort, but it is located three miles west of Liskeard and just twelve miles away from the historic fishing villages of Looe and Polperro, meaning there are plenty of places to visit should you wish to get out and explore.

...wish to have a quiet base for visiting the surrounding attractions, local beaches towns etc. However there are no facilities on site and therefore it is not recommended for those who are static or not wanting to visit other areas. ...on the train which was different & went on a bottom glass boat which was lovely. Drove to Padstow which is a must. The lodge is bright & airy also spotlessly clean. The hot tub is pure luxury, we were out there after dark watching shooting stars! The views of lodge are beautiful & it's so peaceful. Submitted by Catherine on 28/05/2017
