Damages Deposit £200. Pub and beach about a mile by road, a little longer by pretty wooded valley footpath. A wonderfully relaxing house with superb open views.

"We are a bunch of 40 something women and spent a VERY wet and windy 2 days at this property for our annual book club weekend away. The property was immaculate and extremely well equipped. It has recently been completely refurbished in contemporary style so everything was clean, new and refreshing. All the rooms were light and airy and the living room and kitchen is open plan leading onto an enormous balcony with magnificent views. The bedrooms were beautifully furnished and minimally decorated with exceptionally comfortable mattresses and bedding. There was plenty of information at the property about how to use devices and what was available in the area. We only ventured as far as the beach (1 mile down the hill) and a very blustery a coastal walk which we had to abandon. Steep uphill all the way back. We ate at the friendly Coombe Head Inn and the chef owner gave us a big welcome. The food and atmosphere was fantastic and we returned the next day for the best Sunday lunch I have had in long time. We will definitely go back. Sadly no dogs allowed but with all the white walls and modern fixtures and fittings I can see why."
