The livelier town of Newquay is a few minutes drive away and offers a wide selection of restaurants and bars. The picturesque village of Padstow is also a short drive away and is home to Rick Stein and his trio of eateries as well as many other restaurants and bars.

...minute from the huge beach there. Great place to walk dogs and it was noticeable that so many of the people in Waves had dogs. The apartment had everything we needed and was well furnished and decorated. The only negative thing we can think of was that the leather sofa was not very comfy, but otherwise we had a great time. ...including Cristmas at Waves apartment .The apartment was spotless and included all our requirements. Good location and enjoyed manyt walks on the large sandy beach. The area is very dog friendly so our dog enjoyed the many other dogs on the beach. Watergate Bay is 25min from Padstow a quaint Harbour town with a few friendly pubs and great Cornish pasties.
