About this property

A very luxurious ground floor apartment set in the heart of the delightful village of Quintrell Downs in Newquay, perfect for couples or a family of four. This splendid accommodation has everything you could possibly want and need for a comfortable break in the popular seaside town of Newquay, from large spacious living to stunning outdoor views. When you enter the property, you will see right down the extensive hallway to the large open-plan living area which features a plush L-shaped sofa and delightful, contemporary style woodburner with chrome flue. This living space also features a substantial, deluxe wooden unit for storage and a fabulous kitchen, fully-fitted with all the necessary appliances. The first super king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower features a private patio with a seating area, so you can sit and enjoy some peace and quiet all to yourself. The second bedroom, again beautifully decorated with fine furnishings, also has an en-suite and French doors leading to the glorious balcony overlooking the duck pond. Outside on the balcony are two lovely seating areas and a barbecue, the dining area for you to enjoy an evening meal 'alfresco' and two comfy armchairs to relax in. This is a very peaceful, calming spot, overlooking a stunning woodland and duck pond. Newquay is known for Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches, where waves from the Atlantic Ocean are great for surfing. Also on the seafront, the Blue Reef Aquarium features an underwater tunnel going through a coral-reef tank, perfect for bringing the kids to see the stunning pufferfish, sharks and rays. Chy Lagen Hos, which translates to 'duck pond house' in Cornish, is in an idyllic setting for you to really relax and enjoy what Newquay has to offer.

This seaside town is one of the most popular holiday resorts all year round. The lovely range of gift shops, tea rooms, restaurants and pubs offer all you need, while boat trips are a wonderful opportunity to spot the playful dolphins, seals and other rare animals and birds that inhabit the bay's sheltering waters. For the hands-on members of your party why not try sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, and power boating with expert tuition available? Just 7 miles away is Aberaeron, a Georgian harbour town with a good selection of restaurants and inns. This area of Wales not only has sandy beaches, but also countryside walks and the Devil's Bridge is world-renowned for the three bridges, the narrow gauge steam railway and the cascading waterfalls.
