Set in a pretty hamlet and oozing country charm chic, this traditional former farmhouse is surrounded by peaceful gardens in a truly tranquil setting - a perfect place to unwind. Shared with another holiday cottage and the owner the cottage is a twenty minute drive away to the stunning north coast beaches of Portreath and Gwithian, both enormously popular for surfers and sunbathers alike and with lifeguards in the summer months for extra peace of mind. Gwithian also offers a great beach cafe and some fabulous scenic coastal walks. Closer to home, a lovely walk from the farm's front door will take you to the Great Flat Lode, a 12 km circular trail through the heart of the historic mining district. This attractive farmhouse has an inviting living room with exposed stone wall and wood burning stove, the spacious country-style kitchen is well equipped with a Stoves range cooker and has a dining area, separate utility and a ground floor family bathroom with bath and WC. Flight of stairs to bedrooms three bedrooms and a family shower room. Outside the cottage has a shared patio and gardens. Stithians lake is 10 minutes away and offers sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing archery and climbing activities - there is also a popular pub offering tasty meals. The south Cornish coast is also within 20 minutes and the harbour town of Falmouth worth the drive. With ferry boat rides, sea safaris and boat hire, castle, museums, shops and galleries, there is much to see and do - not to mention three fabulous beaches and countless pubs, cafes and restaurants to tempt you. For families and friends seeking a little retreat to return to at the end of a busy day, Bolenowe Farm is a great choice at any time of year.
