Glorious countryside walks are on the doorstep that's if you can drag yourself away from the viewing platform which is Bobbin Cottage and resident pony Bluebell and Mayberry and Katie the miniatures keeping you entertained.

The former county town of Bodmin is a 10 minute drive with selection of supermarkets and small high street with selection of national and local shops to browse around.

The legendary Bodmin Moor (home to the famous Jamaica Inn) is a 10 minute drive away with the beautiful beaches on the North and South coasts of the county just 30 minutes by car.

The pretty village of Blisland with handy community shop, village square and pub is just over 2 miles.

Stay - The Accommodation...

A set of stone (6) steps lead up to the ground level accommodation. Entering the very pretty open plan living, dining and kitchen space you will be struck by the light and airy feel. Comfortable easy seating and tatseful furnishings combined with lovely countryside touches remind you where you are staying. Some of the original features have been sympathetically retained to include the attractive oak beams and deep silled windows. A sliding patio door leads out (via a couple of stone steps) onto a sheltered sun trap of a patio with furniture provided.  Be warned though, you are overlooked.... by the ponies!

The scrumptiously comfortable, carpeted, dual aspect double bedroom with wrought iron bedstead has the benefit of a smart shower WC ensuite with good size cubicle and thematically controlled shower with wash basin and heated towel rail.

Bobbin Cottage is efficently heated by electric heating.

There is private parking to the front of the property on a gravel surface for up to two cars.

Sorry but this property does not accept pets.

A cot is not provided however guests are welcome to bring their own carrycot
