This charming single storey granite barn, attached to the owner's farmhouse, has been beautifully converted to provide spacious accommodation for couples. With a lovely four poster bed, en-suite bathroom, vaulted ceilings and woodburning stove, The Old Barn is ideal for a romantic getaway.

There is an open plan living room/kitchen with a dining table overlooking the outside patio area and private garden, galley-style kitchen and comfortable settees next to the fire.

Nestled in picturesque Cornish countryside are the three charming cottages that make up Aldermoor Farm. Within a 15 minute drive of Boscastle and Tintagel, The Old Barn retains much charm and character and is situated within the grounds of the owner's 70 acre farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

Aldermoor Farm is perfectly located for exploring Cornwall, and offers a haven for walkers and birdwatchers with an abundance of walking trails nearby on Bodmin Moor. The villages of Port Isaac (known to many by the Doc Martin series), Padstow and Tintagel (famous for the Tintagel Castle ruins) are also within easy driving distance. However you choose to spend your time, The Old Barn will be waiting to relax you when you return.

Accommodation: Three steps from the parking area to the front door. Open plan kitchen/living room with small dining table and TV and woodburner. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Steps up to bedroom with 4 Poster Double and en-suite bathroom with bath, WC and basin.

Facilities and services: Linen and towels. Night storage heaters. No smoking. 2 pets welcome. Highchair. Initial basket of log supplied, then £5 thereafter. Shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer (small charge for washing machine and tumble dryer). Shared games room with table tennis table, football table, bodyboards and a variety of books and children's games. Garden furniture. Barbecue. Ample private parking. Short breaks available. 3pm arrival time. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
