The owners were very helpful regarding local information and very friendly. The Roost is very well situated for visiting all of western Cornwall including coastal areas and we would have no hesitation in recommending it

  • Christopher

Ideal location; very quiet rural area with reasonable nearby access to Godrevy and Gwithian beaches, very comfortable (particularly needed this year when storm Betty thundered through!) and delightful and welcoming hosts; not forgetting Bobby, the Eurasian-eagle owl! Highly recommend and hoping to return next year.

Alan and Belinda were so friendly and welcoming and the fresh flowers and cream tea were a lovely surprise! The Roost is well placed to visit all of southern Cornwall and there was lots of useful info provided for places to visit and eating out. It was a nice comfortable base to return to after a day out and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace in the evenings. We’ll definitely be back!
