Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as tea, coffee, and biscuits on arrival. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several guests commenting on the tidy and well-maintained interior. However, a few guests noted issues with cobwebs and pet hair, slightly affecting the score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to local attractions and Bude town centre. The rural setting and access to nature contribute to a high score, although limited walking paths from the property are mentioned.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, especially highlighting the bed and the quiet environment conducive to relaxation. Some guests felt the cottage was smaller than expected, and there were comments about the bed's edges being uncomfortable.

Facilities like the swimming pool are appreciated, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as cleaning of outdoor areas and the need for updated cooking pans and a more efficient vacuum cleaner.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful provision of tea, coffee, biscuits, and even fresh milk. While these gestures are warmly received, it is politely noted that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed with every stay.

Listing was spot on. Nice and clean lovely little cottage would definitely stay again.

The dogs were made welcome with throws provided to put on the bed or chairs if the dogs like to go on them, instead of a list of rules saying they’re not allowed and the enclosed garden was good for them. The cottage was well equipped with everything you would need for a week away and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is more hangers in the wardrobe as there were only 4 but that is a minor point. We would definitely stay again.

the accuracy of the garden image was very deceptive, only big enough for a tortoise. The directions were very difficult to follow, thankfully with the help of locals we arrived eventually. even the locals that helped us said they were poor
