Perfectly located for both touring the stunning north Cornish coastline and beach holidays, this cosy charming old thatched cottage is set on the edge of the small town of Stratton, only two miles from the top coastal resort of Bude. As you arrive at this picture postcard cottage you will sense the character immediately. On entering into the welcoming open plan kitchen and dining area a lovely family feel will greet you. Going through into the delightfully spacious yet cosy sitting room, the large fireplace with a multi-fuel burner is the centrepiece. There are three bedrooms here offering a choice of sleeping arrangements. The garden is enclosed and ideal for children playing with a fine decked area with loungers and table and chairs for total relaxation for the adults. Stratton is a small, historic market town established in Roman times of fine Georgian houses and thatched cottages. The excellent Tree Inn, well known for serving excellent food and fine local ales, is two minutes' walk away and an ideal spot for dinner after a great day out. With Bude so close by and a choice of beaches to suit all the family this is the ideal location for the perfect beach holiday. A surf board and body boards are provided to heighten your enjoyment and fun. At the end of the day though, being able to return to the tranquil surroundings of such a wonderful relaxing thatched cottage will surely make Thatchings an ideal choice for a coastal holiday whatever time of year.

Stratton is a village close to the resort town of Bude in Cornwall. The SW coast path and many other rights of way are a haven for walkers and a selection of pubs and restaurants are close by.
