Tucked into a quiet country lane in North Cornwall’s Bude is Tiscott Cottage, a recently renovated 16th Century Cottage which is so peaceful, if you wanted you could almost hear the flowers from the garden blooming in the spring time. 
 

Although recently renovated, the property has grasped onto the traditional and timeless feel of an English cottage with its 1.6 acre paddock, spacious rooms and log burning stove in the dining area. 
 

Two rooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds and bathroom are upstairs, a large living area, a great kitchen and a dining room are downstairs and outside there is courtyard surrounded by green countryside; all of which make this is a place which will allow you to take pleasure in the simple, timeless things that rejuvenate the spirit. Things like curling up in the living room with a cup of tea and a great book in the winter, or gathering around the table in the courtyard with friends in the summer while a barbeque is warming up and bottles of wine are being poured. 
 

Poughill is just one mile away and if you can pull yourself away from the deep sofas and comfortable beds of Tiscott Cottage for a visit you will find Preston Gate, a pub where families and pets are welcome. You will also find yourself close to the Cornish coastline with Sandymouth beach being just under three miles away, and the nearby Town of Bude only being two and a half miles away where you will find the Sea Pool as well as the indoor pool and leisure centre.

Tiscott cottage is attached to Higher Tiscott and totally self contained. The two properties can be booked at the same time to accomodate bookings of 12 guests
