About this property

This converted detached Cornish barn was once a farm worker's cottage dating back some 400 years. It is set down a peaceful country lane with far reaching views across beautiful countryside and to the sea beyond. Ideal for couples or two sharing, the cottage is tastefully decorated and furnished with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Step out onto the private patio, with adjoining flowerbeds and a home produce garden where the owner grows a wide selection of fruit and vegetables, and enjoy the view across the fields to the sea. You will be invited to pick your own strawberries and raspberries when in season. Opposite are the owner's horses and nearby are ducks and chickens. Fresh flowers and free range eggs are supplied free of charge. There are plenty of good woodland and canal walks within a short distance of the cottage. It is an outstanding springtime location, highly recommended for its beautiful wild flowers and wildlife - bunnies, young pheasants and March hares in abundance, you may even be lucky enough to spot hares boxing in the nearby meadow!
