Stunning rural cottage 5 miles from Crackington haven's large sandy beach with log burner and ½ acre of garden
The site of Dovedale Cottage used to be home for the neighbouring farmer's cattle, with this Cottage being the original milking shed but the barns were converted in the late 90's using as many original building materials as possible. The cottage is well equipped, warm and cosy and is perfect for a family to enjoy a holiday near Bude, a popular seaside resort and also a great place if you enjoy walking. It is also 5 miles to Crackington Haven, a great sandy beach for families. The living room boasts a flat screen TV and a log burner and the owner has taken care when supplying beds for her guests by ensuring she uses the best 1400 pocket sprung lambswool and silk mattresses. The nearest amenities are 2.5 miles away.

What a lovely property and the location perfect. Easy to get to all the beaches and towns. The property had everything you needed . Outside area was great for our little dog it was very secure. Highly recommend!

We have just finished a wonderful week at Dovedale Cottage. Everything was really good. Location - really easy to get to Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel and Padstow. Cottage itself - loads of gated parking, brilliant dog field as well as well maintained smaller gardens with outside seating. We have 2 labradors and they were well contained with plenty space. Perfect for them. Everything worked as expected and Liz the host has the perfect balance of being there but not intrusive. Top tips - Crackington Haven pub, book for dinner then take a walk on the beach for sunset (dogs allowed after 6pm) Harlyn beach for dogs near Padstow St Nectan’s Glen - a not talked about enough treasure, lovely walk and waterfall. Highly recommended!
