About this property

One of four, attractive holiday homes nestling within a private 40 acre estate with woodland walks, wildlife ponds, fishing and access to the Camel Trail.

A charming barn conversion, newly renovated in 2018. These characterful properties are found nestled in a peaceful and private 40 acre valley, and all guests are welcome to explore the estate in its entirety. Tucked away along a quiet country lane, with views over unspoilt countryside and the River Camel, it also gives visitors direct access to The Camel Trail, which is great for walking and cycling between Padstow and Bodmin. Enjoy the beautiful private nature trail on the estate and the 1.5 mile stretch of the River Camel home to a wide array of British wildlife along with some of the best sea trout and salmon fishing spots in Cornwall. Opposite the estate is the award winning Camel Valley Vineyard so check the schedule for tastings and tours. A short car journey will take you to both of Cornwall s radically contrasting coastlines. The property is well situated for those wanting to visit the area s top visitor attractions like the surf beaches at Polzeath, Harlyn, and Trevone and the quaint villages of Fowey, Port Isaac, Tintagel and Boscastle. Other attractions include the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway, the Crealy Great Adventure Park and the National Trust s Lanhydrock House and gardens, to name a few. Camel Valley Vineyard is nearby for your award winning wines requirements. The owner of the property can be contacted direct if you would like to book salmon or sea trout river fishing at an additional cost. This is subject to availability 1st May to 15th December. Course fishing in the private woodland ponds is free of charge. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this detached barn conversion offers inverted living accommodation which is brimming with character, simultaneously benefitting from gorgeous views across the Camel Valley from each of the bedrooms found on the ground floor.
