...night as it's pitch black worth the walk. Submitted by Deborah on 14/12/2016

... Stonerush lodges gave us all that and more. Amazingly peaceful and quiet. Loved getting up in the morning to see the heron outside my bedroom window and the kingfishers on the lake, entertained every day with two playful squirrels on the veranda. The lodge was extremely well equipped and cleaned to the highest standard, well spaced out and un-overlooked. Polite and very friendly staff in the Mill resturant. The lodge was in easy reach of some lovely coves, and the Eden project. All in all this was a fantastic holiday and I will return very soon . Submitted by Christine on 08/08/2016

...and friendly experience. On arrival we were delighted with the peace and tranquility and the lodge far exceeded expectations - the decor was lovely and homely, and the kitchen had everything you'd ever need - from tins and tupperware for picnics, to thermos flasks and welcome tea/coffee and even a pint of milk in the fridge!! The lodge was perfectly clean and well presented, and the decking overlooked the length of the lake, and lots of wildlife to watch go by from the luxury of the hot tub!! Squirrels, geese, ducks and jumping fish!! Would HIGHLY recommend, and hope to return with our children!! Submitted by Cheryl on 06/07/2016
