...beautiful stonerush lakes just after Christmas, and it exceeded all expectations. This weekend break was to relax and spend quality time together, I work nights and husband days so our time is precious. We arrived at the lakes a little before 6pm where to wonderful staff greater us and took us through check in. By 10pm we had eaten, enjoyed a glass of champagne and gazed at the stars from our awaiting hot tub, and to be perfectly honest that's how the duration.of our time at the lodge went. The weather was stormy and gloomy, which did not reflect our mood. We had a doodle around the postcard town of Fowey and indulged in the obligatory cream tea. Before heading back to.our luxury lodge, we were sad to leave but are already looking to return this year. We cannot recommend Stonerush Lakes enough. We had the most relaxing time and we can't wait to return. Mr & Mrs. G Gloucestershire Submitted by Leticia on 13/01/2016

...The directions we received were easy to follow and staff who met us on reception in The Old Mill were helpful and friendly. We found our way to the lodge and were blown away by how stunning it was inside. The lodge had everything we needed for the four nights we stayed and we found it very comfortable and homely. We made use of the robes and slippers provided when going outside to use the hot tub as it was quite chilly in the evening. There is no outside lighting at the lodge so we took a lantern to use outside, but there is a torch provided if you want to walk to the mill or the few steps from the car to the lodge. We had a lovely time visiting the villages in Cornwall, and will definitely book the lodge if we decide to go back again. Submitted by Elaine on 11/10/2015
