About this property

Chester city centre 1.5 miles. This detached, 1950's bungalow rests in the city of Chester, beautifully designed and promising a heart-warming getaway. Whether you are planning a romantic break or a holiday with the family, this retreat has a special feel, perfect for everyone to enjoy. Wander up the pathway and into the cottage, where you will be welcomed by a beautiful entrance hall that takes you through to a charming dining area. Complete with an all-white design and seating for six, you and your loved ones can spend many nights admiring the front-facing window view and feature fireplace that sets the scene for a cosy evening. Continue to the lounge, which adheres to the same neutral colour scheme, laced with soft furnishings and two comfortable sofas. The well-equipped kitchen is the ideal spot for breakfast in the morning hours, with views of the garden to keep you occupied whilst preparing those appetising meals. Choose from two bedrooms for a relaxing night's sleep; a king-size and a twin, both complete to that of a hotel standard, with dressing tables for getting ready in the early hours. The family bathroom is equally as immaculate. From the old walls and amphitheater of Roman times, to medieval churches and timber-framed townhouses, Chester has much to explore all-year-round. Lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee and through the picturesque Grosvenor Park, are a wonderful start to a pleasant afternoon. You could also visit the famous Chester Racecourse. Further afield, are the Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint market towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula. A memorable holiday experience whatever the season.

Chester has much to offer the tourist, including shopping in and around the famous 'Rows' and walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee and through the Grosvenor Park.
