Please note that building works will be taking place on the top floor of Studland Dene until end of January 2017. The hours of the work will be 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday. Some noise will be heard.

...full sky package; unfortunately the rubbish bins were very near to our terrace and at times the smell was overwhelming (as the bins are shared by a restaurant in the building). The parking space was excellent. It was also very handy to have a good sky package, including box sets, which was great for those evenings we just didn't want to go out and was much appreciated. If booked I suggest you take your own tea towels, as one doesn't really work for a week and we also had to go buy soap for the bathroom and kitchen, dishwasher tabs, tissues etc.- don't expect a hotel like amenities. The cleanliness was OK but there are silverfish in the bathroom/shower if you squeamish. The apartment is quite dark, with little natural light and the layout is unique (check the map on line) and might not work for everyone. The concierge were helpful and most importantly the beech was 3 mins away and there was an excellent nearby restaurant (Vesuvio) and a pub (Harvester) - both with excellent outside seating areas for those sunny warm evenings. ...owners have supplied some thoughtful equipment and helpful little touches to this very modern development. The concierge service is excellent, and parking is OK. But the whole block is really undersold on location, location, location. Location wins the day. Alum Chine beach is a few yards away, with lovely walks along the beach front or into the gardens, and bike rides all along the coast, with a bus route into town just outside the block. The fact that there is an excellent restaurant on the roof and another one at the entrance to the beach makes for a relaxing stay. Submitted by Judith on 07/05/2015
