Whether you prefer a bath or a shower, both are on offer here, with a ground floor walk-in shower as well as a double-ended bath. Upstairs, there’s the eaves double bedroom which has its own en-suite shower room and there are two steps up to an eaves family bedroom with three single beds, both rooms enjoying views across the lovely Mendip countryside. Outside there’s a private undercover decking area where you can relax and take in the fresh Somerset air. Fire up a barbecue all year round whatever the weather either in the barbecue hut or alfresco on the covered decking. If you’re lucky, you may be able to marvel at one of the glorious sunsets, or stroll across the shared lawns and greet the horses in the fields. The historic town of Shepton Mallet is a delightful mixture of 'old and new', with some wonderful old architecture and a weekly market, plus a variety of shops, pubs and eateries. Shepton Mallet is set in the Mendip foothills, and is at the geographical heart of the Mendip District. This is a beautiful landscape, with unique places to visit and activities for everyone. Shepton Mallet is home to the Royal Bath and West Showground; one of Britain's major agricultural shows is held here annually in May/June, and many other events are staged throughout the year.
