This villa located in Calpe along the Costa Blanca coast in Spain has everything you need to relax, from the private pool to bright, and naturally lit open plan living.
The interior of this villa is bright and airy, complete with comfy homely touches like a large sofa that just invites you over for a siesta. After the siesta comes the fiesta. Feasts can be prepared in the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you could need, and want, on holidays such as a gas hob, gas oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator-freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle, mixer, toaster and juicer.
Everything from the evening feasts to morning coffees and juices can be enjoyed in one of the dining rooms, in this case, a wee nook, which features floor to ceiling windows. The other dining room, which is in the open plan living area, is big enough to fit everyone as guests sit around the table and make memories.
A long day, doing nothing can be exhausting and the villa’s three bedrooms are ready for guests to rest their weary heads. Two of the bedrooms each have two a double bed, the other has two singles. The villa’s bathrooms both feature a single basin and toilet and one has a bath, while the other has a shower.
The backyard of this villa is the epitome a Spanish charm, Bougainvillea lines the garden complementing the bright blue pool, and sun loungers, and the dusty stucco-clad villa. Seek a moment of solitude from the balcony that has sweeping views of the nearby area and the ocean in the distance. The outdoor barbeque is hard to look past, as you picture yourself post-swim and post-siesta, enjoying a barbeque of fresh, local cuisine prepared and enjoyed poolside.
The Costa Blanca Coast is a must-visit destination in Spain, boasting crystal clear waters, picturesque and historical coastal towns and most of all incredible weather, with 3,000 hours of sun a year and average afternoon highs of 20 degrees year-round.
Along the Costa Blanca is Calpe, which is where this villa is located. This town is rich in history and boasts medieval ruins, like that of the Pobla de Ifac. The rich history is due to Calpe’s position along the coast, as it saw voyagers and settlers arriving at this town throughout history. There are stunning attractions, including the ancient town centre next to the Moorish quarter and the Iglesia Vieja church, Valencia’s only remaining example of Mudejar-Gothic architecture. The ranging civilisations that the town saw over the years have especially impacted the cuisine with many offerings and influences noticeable, such as Celts, Iberians, Greeks, Romans and Muslims.
Calpe is also known for its picturesque sandy beaches and sea pools. One of the most popular beaches is Playa Arenal-Bol, which is just two kilometres from the villa. This beach is a safe, clean beach that does get pretty crowded during summer months because of the location, proximity to the restaurants and bars and because it has blue flags for cleanliness, safety and accessibility.
The villa is close to the two airports in the area, both of which are just over 100 kilometres away.
