Casa Riera d Aubi is a truly marvellous property located in a lovely tranquil setting less than a ten-minute drive from the lovely Catalonian town of Palafrugell with its charming and eclectic range of boutique shops, excellent restaurants and lively cellar bars and cafés.
With extensive well cared for gardens and an inviting private ‘gated’ swimming pool, this really is a perfect villa for families with young children who will enjoy having the pleasing quandary of whether to drive along to the attractive town centre, or stay home and relax round the pool, what a wonderful dilemma!
The interiors are bright, spacious and exceptionally comfortable, with large doors leading out of the open plan living areas out onto the front terrace where you will find a lovely al fresco dining area and brick built barbecue, a truly perfect spot for a chilled glass of bubbly on a balmy summers evening.
With a plethora of idyllic bays and coves to visit such as Tamariu, Pals, Plaja Fonda, Aguablava, Llefranc and Sa Riera to visit, all within a fifteen-minute drive from Casa Riera d Aubi, it is little wonder that this terrific villa is destined to become one of our most popular villas in this diverse region over the coming years.
Palafrugell is a truly delightful village located to the popular nearby seaside villages of Tamariu and Llefranc, both of which offer a gorgeous sandy family friendly beach, as well as a string of popular waterfront restaurants and a couple of well stocked minimarkets. Both Llefranc and Tamariu have retained a lot of their charm compared to many other ‘resorts’ along the Spanish Costas, this is due to the nature (good fortune) of its rather rugged (but sublimely beautiful) coastline and the difficulty (impossible) of large mass tourist companies getting transfer coaches up and down the narrow hillside roads. And thank goodness for that, as what we are left with is an utterly charming stretch of coastline occupied by likeminded discerning tourists who respect the local countryside and embrace the traditional restaurants, tapas bars and which can be found in this gem of a village. And getting there could not be easier, as Girona airport is less than an hour’s drive away.
