If you can stop staring open-mouthed at the exterior beauty that is Villa Eriella for long enough to step inside, you’ll instantly notice that the interior is no less breathtaking. Decorated throughout in dazzling white, accented by chunky wooden furniture and splashes of olive, lemon and azure blue present in the luxurious soft furnishings, the ground floor features a spacious living area with gorgeous squashy sofas, a flatscreen TV, and a wood-burning stove - the perfect combo for snuggling up for a movie night on a chillier evening. Doors from the living room lead out onto the terrace, flooding the room with light during the day and showcasing the stars at night, really bringing the outdoors indoors for a magical stay. Vila Eriella also has a sophisticated dining area with a table that seats up to ten guests - so no one is left out! - as well as a cosy reading room; the perfect space to escape for some ‘me’ time after a busy day.

If you’re expecting this glorious farmhouse to have a country-style kitchen, you’ll not be disappointed! The room is incredibly spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of sparkling white storage units and food-prep space, soft cream tiled flooring and beautiful exposed ceiling beams for an authentic, rustic flavour. Everything you could possibly need to rustle up a delicious feast during your stay is here, including a huge oven and hob, cookware and crockery, a fridge-freezer, and a dishwasher. Doors from the grand kitchen lead out to a private patio terrace and to a separate laundry room with a washing machine - meaning that you can pack a little lighter and leave some extra room in your cases for those all-important Mallorcan souvenirs! You’ll also discover a delightful self-contained suite featuring a private living room, kitchen and covered terrace, and it is here that you’ll find Villa Eriella’s first two bedrooms. Both rooms are twins, light and airy, and each features an ensuite bathroom. We think this could provide the perfect private retreat for older teens who want some space away from the rest of the group.

The first floor of Villa Eriella is home to a further three bedrooms, including the stunning master bedroom with its incredible king-size, four-poster bed, beautiful ensuite bathroom, and access to a fully-furnished sun terrace - the ideal place to enjoy a morning coffee while looking out over the lush, colourful gardens. The second bedroom is also a double, with a queen-size four-poster bed and features an ensuite shower room and a charming balcony with seating. The final room has twin beds and would be ideal for the kids!

From the first floor terraces you’ll be able to take in spectacular views of the countryside and mountains, but the ground floor patio, situated in the centre of the grounds, also offers plenty. It’s partially covered, providing some welcome afternoon shade, and there’s a comfortable and relaxed seating area that’s perfect for enjoying pre-dinner drinks before heading over to the outdoor dining area and barbecue for an alfresco meal to remember.

After dinner, be sure to go down the steps from the dining area and take a stroll around Villa Eriella’s magnificent garden, with its lush lawns, mature fruit trees and vibrant plants. Tucked away down here in a peaceful location, you’ll find the villa’s most precious secret - a large private swimming pool surrounded by a terrace and a selection of luxurious sun loungers - ideal for a cooling dip and a day of total relaxation.

Villa Eriella’s rural location offers guests a wide range of outdoor activities to enjoy - right on your doorstep. There are many hiking trails winding through the surrounding hills and countryside, or you might choose to cycle along the quiet roads and discover charming, tucked-away villages

Your nearest place for groceries, essentials, restaurants and historical sites is Pollensa, which is less than a fifteen-minute drive away. Its location makes it easy to stock up on everything you need before quickly returning to your secluded retreat, but we recommend spending a bit more time in one of Mallorca’s most attractive towns than just a flying visit!

Pollensa dates back to the 13th century and features winding, atmospheric streets and stunning architecture. Here you’ll find a vibrant mix of cultures that have influenced the monuments and buildings in the town over thousands of years, including the Calvari Steps and the medieval church and watchtower. The town is small and easy to explore on foot, but be aware that it is a steep and uneven walk, so good footwear is a must!

Another little gem that deserves a visit during your time in Pollensa is Museo Dionis Bennassar, the home of a local artist that is now used to showcase his incredible works. This peaceful and inspirational place is the perfect spot for art lovers, as well for anyone who wants to enjoy some quiet contemplation while soaking up some local culture.

While you’re here, we recommend giving yourselves the night off from cooking and heading to one of the many restaurants in the town for traditional Mediterranean fare such as Tumbet (a vegetarian dish of aubergines, potatoes, red peppers, garlic, tomatoes, and love oil), or perhaps a fresh seafood dish, salad or burger - you’ll really be spoiled for choice!

If you fancy a day at the beach, we recommend taking a trip to the coastal town of Puerto Pollensa, which is about a twenty-minute drive from the villa. The area is famous for its long sandy stretches, with its main beach boasting Blue Flag status. Sitting in a horseshoe-shaped bay, overlooked by the Tramuntana, Puerto Pollensa Beach’s soft sand and shallow, inviting waters to make it a firm favourite with families. The beach also has great amenities such as umbrella rental, sports facilities and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants, making it the perfect place to spend the whole day.
