An old stone house, still bursting with unusual, time-worn features, Villa Ciro sleeps just six charmed guests. Each of the three double bedrooms features rustic details, pure white walls, opulent furnishings and fabulous, private bathrooms.
The master suite has two garden-facing walls consisting entirely of glazed patio and sliding doors. Step immediately out into your beautiful gardens at the start of the day, or push back the curtains and enjoy. If children prefer, there’s also an adorable set of bunk beds to sleep in.
Villa Ciro’s kitchen-diner is a masterful mix of traditional materials, modern appliances, cobblestone floor and old-world luxury. Preparing and eating meals in here will be a delightful and memorable part of your stay at Villa Ciro.
Leading off the kitchen is your large living room. Occupying a central position within the house, the high ceilings, exposed beams, real fire, chill-out seating as well as sofas are all so inviting and welcoming, you’ll want to relax and sit here, and never leave!
The gorgeous outside space continues around the back of the Villa Ciro. As you explore the grounds, you’ll discover one delightful seating or dining area after another. Including the outdoor kitchen! Set off the back of the villa and complete with dining table, chairs and comfortable seating, you’re all set for some brave chef to serve up a delicious dinner, al fresco style.
Your private pool is waiting for you at the end of the garden. With a reed covered pergola spanning the entire length of the terrace on one side, sumptuous looking sunbeds can remain in the welcome shade or be moved to the perfect spot for soaking up the Mallorcan sun.
Fabulous broad steps lead you down to your pool. It’s all yours for splashing and swimming your way through the day. And if you feel like drying off, lie back on a sun lounger and enjoy another tantalising glimpse of the sea through the trees. Heaven.
As if Villa Ciro isn’t already beautiful enough, you’re just five minutes’ walk away from a small, sheltered cove for swimming, exploring and seafood lunches.
With only Villa Ciro’s exquisite gardens between you and the sea, location is everything at this delightful holiday home. Situated on one of the prettiest stretches of Mallorca’s western coast, you’re only a few minutes’ walks down to the sea. Cala Deia is well known in the area, but happily, it’s rarely busy.
Come here to explore the cliffs and rocks of the cove, swim in the warm, calm waters and discover what lies beneath the surface with a mask and snorkel. The beach in this sheltered cove doesn’t have any sand, but there are two seafood restaurants with sunset-facing terraces.
The village is just a short drive inland. Despite its small size, it has an incredible choice of top-quality restaurants. It’s been a summer retreat for discerning celebrities for some time. Deia’s incredible eateries delight their guests with the Mediterranean-Mallorcan cuisine, superb seafood or traditional tapas and paella.
If you’re looking for a walking or cycling challenge, there are trails which you can follow virtually from the door of Villa Ciro. Follow ancient paths through woods and spectacular scenery, or old mule tracks which lead all the way to Valldemossa. The terrain is mountainous, so be sure to do some training before you leave home!
About a twenty-five-minute drive from Villa Ciro is Puerto de Soller. This lovely harbour town has everything for the perfect day out. Not one but two sandy beaches – the only ones on the west coast of the island – run around the bay, as does a promenade lined with shops, bars and restaurants, besides which a vintage tram runs throughout the day during summer months. You’ve even got a marina at the far end of the harbour. Head here to admire the sleek looking yachts, try watersports or to book a boat trip.
When everyone has done enough sightseeing for one day, return to Villa Ciro to share a glass of Cava, locally grown olives and beautiful memories.
