This residential area has a rocky and tree-lined backdrop with typical white houses dotted throughout and small moored boats on the edge of the water, it is an area full of charm perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Cala Esteban is located at 6 km from the Capital city of Mahon and 10 km from Menorca Airport.

The villa is situated in a breathtaking area with a dramatic rock backdrop and stunning views of the cove. Cala Esteban was completely renovated in 2019, this villa is spread over 2 floors and has a contemporary décor with light furnishing and rooms with pops of colour. The property can accommodate up to 10 guests, so is perfect for a large group.

On the ground floor, you will find 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a utility and laundry room. There are 3 rooms with double beds and 2 rooms with twin beds; some of the rooms have access to the front garden and pool area via sliding doors. On the first floor, you will find an open plan living space that connects the lounge, dining room and kitchen, there is also an extra toilet available on this level. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to use with a stylish breakfast bar. The terrace can be accessed through the kitchen, lounge or diner.

The outside space of this villa makes it a truly special place and a great social area to spend time together and relax. The large terrace offers stunning views of the sea and the surrounding area, it includes a large dining set, comfy seating, a hammock and a barbecue. The shade is provided by an overhanging canopy when you need to retreat from the sun for a bit. 

The private swimming pool can be accessed directly on the ground floor or by descending the stairs from the terrace. This area has a lovely unique look due to its modern decking and the contrast between the soft white walls and the rustic rock facade. Here you will find some comfy bean bags to lay back on and a table tennis table too.

A short walk away from the villa you will find Punta de Migjorn, this rocky point offers great sea views and is an idyllic spot to watch the sunrise. Two local monuments that are worth visiting are the 18th century British built Fort Malborough which is within a short walking distance from the villa and Castillo de San Felipe which is at a 20-minute walk from Cala Esteban. The castle was rebuilt by the British in the 1760s as an expansion of an earlier Spanish fort in the area. Both structures were built to help defend Menorca and keep watch over ships entering Mahon port.

The town of Es Castell is located at 3 km from Cala Esteban; here you will find plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and supermarkets. The town was built in the 18th century by British Engineers and was originally known as Georgetown. Here you can take a walk along the picturesque harbour, visit the local markets, head to the main square with its striking red buildings or learn about the history of the area in the Military Museum.

The Cami de Cavalls coastal path passes through Cala San Esteban, the path was restored in 2010, so it is now accessible to everyone with clear signposting. The path goes all the way around Menorca island for a total distance of 185 km and is divided up into 20 sections; the walk will lead you through a variety of stunning landscapes including valleys, wetlands, virgin beaches, lighthouses and woodlands. One of the most picturesque sections of the walk is between Cala Galdana and Santo Tomas so whether you fancy a long hike or a casual stroll why not tackle a section of this lovely walk while on holiday.The Villa
