A peaceful country villa in the magnificent Los Alcornocales Natural Park in Andalusia, Casa Caballeria is a masterpiece of traditional character and beauty, just 300 metres from the charming village of Jimena de la Frontera!
The central hub of the home is undoubtedly the vast living room, a spacious room with fabulous overhead beams of dark wood set against the classic white walls, with a Persian rug unfurled across most of the floor. A long sofa and two comfortable armchairs sit in front of the TV and fireplace, creating a cosy environment for rest. There’s a second lounge area, complete with a satellite TV, so everyone can find a little quiet space to unwind undisturbed. The villa has Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning throughout for your absolute comfort. The large kitchen is similarly traditional, with a double cooker, traditional wooden fittings and a large fridge/freezer.
There are four double bedrooms in total, two on the first floor and two on the second. All four enjoy ornate bedframes and an elegant, minimalist style, with beautiful monochrome furniture contrasting pleasingly with the terracotta flooring. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The master bedroom on the first floor and both rooms on the second-floor enjoy direct access to the sunshine via a large set of French doors, which has the added benefit of flooding each room with plenty of natural light and a warm glow!
The exquisite garden gives you the chance to make the most of your tranquil location! The large veranda is the ideal space for enjoying a relaxing morning coffee, listening to the birdsong and enjoying the fresh sunshine among the lively flowers and plants. With alfresco dining and a cosy seating area, you’re sure to spend many enjoyable hours chatting, dining and perhaps even snoozing out here. There’s more seating on the lower level, too, beside your fantastic private pool! Set among the fragrant pine trees and vibrant forest, this is the perfect spot for a refreshing dip in between catching some rays on your comfortable sunbeds!
Tucked away in a secluded valley, you’re still just a ten-minute walk from the traditional white Spanish village of Jimena de la Frontera and only thirty minutes from the coast. With several bars and restaurants, as well as banks, supermarkets and even a train station, you’ll find everything you could wish for here, and be sure to get out in the Alcornocales Natural Park, one of the largest national parks in Spain, with tons of excellent local walks.
Casa Caballeria is tucked away in a secluded valley just a ten-minute walk from the traditional white Spanish village of Jimena de la Frontera and just thirty minutes from the coast.
With several bars and restaurants, as well as banks, supermarkets and even a train station, you’ll find everything you could wish for here. There’s even the Hozgarganta river flowing through the village, adjoining the Alcornocales Natural Park, one of the largest national parks in Spain, offering tons of exceptional local walks.
The Costa del Sol itself is largely peaceful and quiet, as although there is a large amount of tourism, largely for the fantastic beaches and warm climate (the average water temperature year-round is 18°C!), visitors tend to stick to the highly developed and bustling south-western part, leaving the stunning mountains inland largely untouched and peaceful year-round.
The region of Andalucía is culturally diverse and has a perfectly varied landscape, where picturesque beaches, ancient cities and deserts meet the incredible Sierra Nevada mountain range, which includes both the most southerly ski resort in Europe and the highest point of continental Europe!
