Situated on the elegant Monte Rei Golf & Country Club these villas provide the independence associated with a self catering holiday, combined with a 5 star bespoke hotel service. Part of a small cluster of properties recently built on the resort, the villas come equipped with complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, pool towels, robes and slippers as well as daily housekeeping and room service should you need it. There is also a complimentary welcome hamper for all bookings.
Spacious and elegantly decorated throughout, the properties have been designed to cater for your every need whilst on holiday. The ground floor consists of an en-suite bedroom, a large lounge area with flat screen television, DVD player and a dining area, with patio doors that lead out to the wondrous grounds and pool area. The covered outdoor terrace provides an ideal place to enjoy your meals.
A further two en-suite bedrooms can be found on the 1st floor, including the incredibly large master bedroom which has it's own walk in wardrobe. Views of the surrounding countryside and sea can be admired from the upstairs terrace area.
Each of the bedrooms come equipped with fluffy robes and slippers, pool towels, hairdryer and also complimentary toiletries, making packing your suitcase that little bit lighter! Room service is also available from the main reception making life that little easier when you need it.

The villas are located a short drive from the centre of Monte Rei Golf & Country Club, where you can find facilities such as tennis, beauty treatments, golf, restaurants, communal pool and a kids' villa, which has all sorts of activities for them to enjoy.
Monte Rei Golf & Country Club is located in Eastern Algarve, close to the beautiful, traditional Portuguese town of Tavira and within a short drive of the quaint villages of Vila Nova de Cacela and Manta Rota. Both of these villages provide great restaurants with freshly caught fish at very reasonable prices. The golden sandy beach at Manta Rota is definitely worth a visit and Monte Rei offers a free shuttle bus service during the summer season.
For those looking for even more adventure on holiday, pack your passport and take a trip over to Spain, which can be found at the end of the A22, about 30 minutes drive away from Monte Rei.

Wow, Having just returned from a weekend at Monte Rei, I thought I would write a review but I'm not sure where to start, from the moment we arrived you could just tell that this place is special, the staff really can't do enough to help you, we stayed in a villa which had everything you could wish for as well as complementary tea,coffee,water,fruit ,cheese & biscuits and wine. The practice facilities are first class and when it's your tee time the staff come and fetch you to take you to the first tee, the course itself is just stunning, a great test of golf and was I excellent condition even with the recent bad weather in Portugal, the staff even came out onto the course after a sudden downpour to give each golfer a towel to dry themselves off with, I could go on And on... Yes it's not cheap but you get what you pay for... Can't wait to go back!!!

We were a group of 20 on a golf visit. The Villas are very well appointed and in such a way to make them a home from home. I could have easily moved in. Being the winter we only had the opportunity to visit the club bar and Vistas restaurants. Both excellent as was breakfast. The golf course has a slope rating of 142 so is not for the faint hearted. Absolutely one of the best courses in Europe. A must play for avid golfers. Bermuda grass, wind and magnetic lakes suggest taking plenty of balls. We played 3.5 rounds and lost 214 balls. Shuttle bus to and from villas makes life simple. Tavira is about 20 minutes away. Extremely attentive and efficient staff together with the facilities make this a leading golf venue in Europe. Not cheap but well worth it.
