Villa Florestina is a modern three bedroom property located in a quiet and tranquil area of the Algarve. The villa is situated a twenty-minute walk from the beach and nestled in between vast stretches of greenery and low trees that enable optimal opportunity to capture the sun.
In the lovely garden, you will be able to enter your private pool with easy access Roman steps, and plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas dotted around that provide much-needed shade from the blazing Portuguese sunshine.
Guests will be delighted to use the outside living room complete with comfortable sofas, a coffee table and an outdoor barbeque. Here, you can utilise the outer space just as much as the inside by enjoying drinks and meals while overlooking the villa’s luscious green lawn and full gorgeous countryside.
The property benefits from tastefully designed, stylish and contemporary interiors throughout and minimal colours. Stepping inside, you will discover the open plan dining and living room with a wood laminate floor, a stunning glass fireplace and an elegant dining table for eight.
The extended room benefits from multiple floor-length glass doors that lead outside and has plenty of social space. The sleek and modern kitchen is well-equipped with atmospheric lighting. It is stunningly presented with bar stools and glass doors that allow you to access the vast garden and pool.
Villa Florentina's bright and minimal bedrooms have double beds and beaming natural light. The bathrooms have bowl-shaped sinks, and one of the en-suite bathrooms has a Jacuzzi bath to truely unwind. Two additional single beds can be provided to bring the maximum capacity of the villa up to eight guests.
Guests will find an office room on the lower floor with a sofa and two desks. This is a fantastic area to read the days and evenings away merely. Though the weather is not likely to be disappointing, Villa Florestina houses a small games room on the basement floor complete with table tennis, table football and seating.
Villa Florestina is located in a quiet area in the centre of the Algarve. Salgados beach lies within 3km of Villa Florestina which is mainly frequented by the local Portuguese population. The beach is situated next to a natural reserve with a plethora of bird species.
Children will love this beach for its small water inlet, allowing them to play and splash about safely. Visitors will be delighted with the miles-long golden sand and the magnificent views. Activities including water sports and bird watching are available and there are an excellent bar and restaurant located at the beaches’ entrance.
Albufeira Old Town Square is around a fifteen-minute drive from Villa Florestina and is known for its buzzing atmosphere and variety of bars, restaurants, shops and galleries. The ancient fishing village is set across quaint cobblestone streets that visitors can get lost in a while selecting from the fantastic variety of drinking spots, eateries and live entertainment.
It is an excellent location to people-watch, with seafront restaurants being beautiful choices for freshly caught fish and dining under the sunrise or sunset. Galeria de Arte Pintor Samora Barros is in this area and is an art gallery dedicated to showcasing the work of late Portuguese painter Samora Barros.
The free entry gallery featured great works by various artists and was previously a 20th-century electrical power station before being renovated into an art gallery in 1988. Visitors can view the collection of visual art placed across two floors. The building itself is a beautiful site with large arched windows and a bright white exterior.

Our family of 6 had a lovely time at this beautiful villa. Our high expectations were exceeded, the photos more than do it justice. I would say that it is the equivalent of 4/5 star UK rated accomodation. It is kept to a high standard, very clean and with all of he essentials you need. The villa manager Gentle went out of her way to make sure she met us on the first night despite us arriving late evening and was only too pleased to recommend places to visit etc. We found the best restaurants were in the village itself. Some other good ones are to be found in Albufeira old town which is about a 15 min drive. You will need a car as the villa is remote but this suited us fine. There are too many high quality beaches to pick one, but the nearest beaches were a 5-10 min drive away and were world class. We visited Monchique in he mountains which is a good day out and spent an afternoon at Aqualand. Whilst this is not as good as Splash and Slide it is perfect for a few hours of fun, with queues no longer than 15 mins, very clean and with 50% off the price if you buy a ticket in advance, it is great value. Love Portugal!

Good size villa with excellent outdoor space - garden, barbecue and lovely pool. Location a little from the beach and about 15 mins walk up to the small town with 2 good restaurants but good access to everywhere as close to A22. Would be helpful if proper details / brochures were provided so one knew more about local area offerings - a feedback book would also be good as I am sure reviews would be very positive but also helpful to new guests.
