About this property

Impressively positioned above San Francesco Bay on Ischia Island, Villa Eagle offers panoramic views over the town of Forio and the idyllic sea. Skilfully sculpted from local volcanic stone, its unique circular design and white exterior make it a striking feature against the lush greenery that it nestles within. The villa’s secluded setting makes it an oasis of calm and yet the island’s lively capital is within easy reach.

Sea views can be enjoyed from every room of Villa Eagle, which showcases a beautiful blend of Italian architecture, modern artwork and elegant antiques. Many of the rooms also open onto terraces. With its watchtower-shaped design and abundance of glass, the three floors of the villa are all incredibly spacious and light.

The ground-floor living room is a tranquil place to sink back into an impossibly comfortable sofa or armchair and relax by watching television. A huge fireplace is the main focal point and heart of the room, with a rustic wood dining table seating up to eight people close by. The fully-equipped kitchen features skylight windows, giving you the feeling of being under the stars as you socialise and enjoy pre-dinner drinks.

The lower floor is home to three double bedrooms with sea views. The main bedroom also has two sofa beds for additional guests and its own en-suite bathroom with shower. Two also have access to a lovely terrace that’s the perfect place to both start mornings and end evenings.

The fourth bedroom is a double master suite on the top floor, with a beautiful four-poster bed, floor-to-ceiling windows with sea views. It has a sumptuous bathroom and fitted wardrobes for your ultimate comfort and convenience. There are also stairs that take you up to a small lounge area on mezzanine level.

The villa’s main terrace is exquisite, with seating areas for enjoying casual drinks as you take in the truly breathtaking views across the sea. These are even more spectacular as evening draws in and the sun sets over the water. The dining area also overlooks the sea and bay area. Landscaped gardens add to the idyllic feel, with Mediterranean trees and plants adding to the sweet-scented breeze that passes throughout the grounds and villa interior. There’s also an orchard bursting with fruits and vegetables, a private swimming pool and private access to the sea via a wooden walkway.

You can be exploring botanical gardens, relaxing on sandy beaches, swimming in the azure sea and following scenic hiking trails in no time. Forio’s old town is also just a short drive away, with all its historic sightseeing opportunities.Amenities are incredibly easy to reach from Villa Eagle, with restaurants and groceries within a five-minute drive. Follow the private wooden walkway down to the sea to explore the rocky hidden coves dotted along the coastline.
