About this property

Nestled within olive groves and surrounded by rolling countryside close to the small town of Cisternino, Trullo di Amore offers a blissfully-relaxing holiday experience. This traditional trullo is the perfect, authentic, country retreat for exploring Puglia’s picturesque villages, towns and beaches.

With whitewashed walls, earthy shades and furnishings made from natural materials, staying at Trullo di Amore feels like being at one with the local landscapes. Local stone floors and tiles are found throughout, enhancing the sense of heritage and history. Modern features add touches of luxury and style, such as stunning art works, handmade pieces of furniture and glass sliding doors.

The accommodation is set over the main trulli level and also a beautifully-restored lower level. The living area with contemporary fireplace invites you in with its rustic, cosy feel and glimpses of the views over the olive tree-studded gardens. There’s a sofa sat on raised beds of stone as a delightful touch, and is ideally located next to the well-equipped, characterful kitchen. Enjoy meals in style at the olive-wood dining table that seats up to 10 guests (8 adults and 2 children).

The four double bedrooms are all beautifully designed for helping you drift off into peaceful sleep. Lovely extra touches are the handmade wooden beds and artfully-selected pieces of furniture. The bedroom on the lower level also features a double sofa bed and doors that take you into the outside space with a small seating area. There are two family shower rooms to both unwind and invigorate in luxury.

The grounds that Trullo di Amore sits within are extensive and are typical of Puglia country living. Traditional dry-stone walls encircle the property and its gardens full of ancient olive and almond trees. Found around the trulli are plenty outdoor seating areas, with a wooden gazebo being home to a dining area with brick barbecue that overlooks the swimming pool. Sun loungers offer you the chance to chill out whilst taking in the lush surrounding scenery.
