Creeslough 3 miles. This is a detached old cottage in very rural location, close to the town of Creeslough in County Donegal. The views over Downings Bay and the surrounding mountains are wonderful. This is an ideal outdoor break for families to enjoy walking and cycling in the countryside. When you drive up to the house you feel as if you’re going back in time but on entering the house you clearly see that the property has been modernised. The cosy sitting room is a good size with an open fire to keep you warm throughout your stay. There is a comfy 3-seater sofa and 2 matching chairs. There are three lovely bedrooms, one with an en-suite and travel cot on request. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner to cook your family meals together, and outside is a lovely garden with a BBQ and seating area. Creeslough is situated at the foot of Muckish Mountain and this is where the nearest shop and pub are. Within reach is the village of Dunfanaghy, which is situated on the Wild Atlantic Way and is surrounded by Blue Flag beaches. The bustling and ever-popular cathedral town of Letterkenny is located 20 miles west of Derry City and 35 miles north of Donegal Town. As the largest and most populous town in the county, there’s always something going on here, with a whole host of historical and recreational opportunities for visitors to explore. There are two town parks, the Aura Leisure Centre and a 6-screen cinema and bowling alley within the town. This is the perfect getaway break all year round.
