Creeslough in County Donegal is within easy reach of the Glenveagh National Park. The village is within access of Letterkenny, which has a museum and there's shops, pubs and places to eat. Whilst making Creeslough your base make sure that you explore Glenveagh National Park. A number of walks can be enjoyed, after which take a tour of the castle, or enjoy tea and cakes, whilst to the northern edge of Lough Beagh is a visitor centre housing a restaurant. There are hills in the area, which once youve climbed or walked up, boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean. Theres also rivers, loughs, historical and religious sites in abundance throughout this part of County Donegal. In the area are beaches, whilst further afield is Malin Head, the most northerly point in Ireland, and across the border is the city of Derry. A convenient base for exploring all that Donegal has to offer.
