This cottage is perfect for a group of friends or large family, wanting to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and appreciate the tranquil surrounding s and lovely sea views. Set over two floors you have the choice of three comfortable bedrooms, all offering sea views. The two on the first floor have their own en-suite facilities, and the ground floor double has a family bathroom next door, so all guests are well-catered for. The sitting room has a cosy multi-fuel stove, ideal for relaxing in front of on those chilly nights. There is an additional small snug with a comfortable sofa, where guests can disappear to for some quiet time. The well-equipped kitchen has a large dining table, and makes a perfect spot for gathering around whilst enjoying your home-cooked meals. Outside this cottage is a front and side garden, which enjoys sea views. Dungloe, just five miles away, is situated in the Rosses region, famed for its shops, excellent choice of pubs, restaurants and not forgetting its traditional music. A paradise for walkers and fishermen, the surrounding area is scattered with rugged seascapes, lakes and sandy beaches, and is a paradise for walkers and fishermen.The more experienced and adventurous hiker can challenge Donegals highest peak, Mount Errigal. Further afield, is the rugged island of Aranmore which can be reached by boat from Burtonport, or why not hop on your bike and enjoy the views and landscape of the Glenveagh National Park? Dungloe is known locally as 'The Capital of The Rosses', the name given to this region of the county. The town has a selection of shops, bars and eateries, and events throughout the year, including the annual 'Mary from Dungloe' festival. A fisherman's paradise, the area has over 130 lakes and rivers, and is renowned for its fishing and great sea angling, with several charter boats available in nearby Burtonport. Wonderful wildlife can be found in the bogs and reed beds, while golfers will love the variety of golf courses in the surrounding area. With hills and mountains to explore, dramatic coastline to enjoy and so much to do and see, this is sure to make the perfect base for your Donegal holiday.
