Boasting five spacious and comfortable bedrooms, including one with a large walk-in wardrobe, this cottage can cater for a variety of party types and sizes. The bright and airy open plan living area is complemented by an open fire and provides a wonderful space to wine, dine and entertain with your loved ones. Leading off the kitchen area is a cosy sun room, which opens out to the garden where you can relax and unwind. There is also outdoor furniture should you fancy some alfresco dining! The Killarney area is recognised worldwide as one of the most scenic parts of Ireland, and is hugely popular with visitors from all corners of the globe due to its crystal clear lakes, mountain peaks and stunning scenery. Home to the Killarney National Park, Ross Castle and the Gap of Dunloe, it’s clear to see why. Just a short drive from your cottage is Muckross House and Gardens, a 19th century house set against the backdrop of the National Park. Why not travel in style and take a jaunting car around the area or hire some bikes? Nearby activities also include horse riding, pet farms, kayaking, boat trips and hill walking with the beautiful Torc Mountain, Mangerton Mountain and Kerry’s highest mountain, Carrantouhill, to name a few. Killarney hosts many adventure races and triathlons throughout the year for all the fitness fanatics, and for a more relaxing day there is an impressive selection of boutiques, cafés, gourmet restaurants and traditional pubs where you are sure to find a live music session most nights. This cottage is an ideal location for travelling to some of Kerry’s most famous festivals, including The Puck Fair Festival held in the beautiful town of Killorglin and the world-famous Rose of Tralee. Other popular attractions include Kate Kearney’s Cottage, The Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and the charming town of Kenmare. You might have to come back next year for another trip to fit everything in!
