The cuisine is second to none, with fresh seafood at the heart of most eateries where you can indulge in delicious local produce. Speckled with pretty harbours, secluded inlets and bays, West Cork is a wonderful choice for your Wild Atlantic Way road trip. Why not discover it on bike or try a spot of island hopping and wash it all down with a pint of Guinness in a cosy pub. A truly magical part of Ireland where you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely to sit out in the front garden with view of water but some hedging is now overgrown and obstructing a better view. Everything inside the cottage functioned. The place just needs a bit more TLC, to bring it back to prime condition....

Scull is 11km and Goleen is 5km. The house is so well appointed and so comfortable. Some holiday homes can be very clinical but Mudflat is so homey. Our doggies loved it One very small thing is that the mobile signal inside the house is very poor but given the location and the view it's only a very small thing. The Owners are next door and they're lovely. We're looking forward to coming back.

Very clean. All the comforts of home. Well situated - lots of walkways, beaches and other attractions to visit nearby and bring the dog (if travelling with your four legged friend). Owners live nearby and are very friendly but not intrusive. Excellent option for anyone looking to get away for a bit. Eimear & Cathal
