The seaside village of Lahinch is situated on the shores of Liscannor bay and has a fantastic stretch of beach that goes on for two kilometres, perfect for those who love the sea. The area around the village has a wide range of activities to offer the holidaymaker including two popular 18-hole championship golf courses, and lots of trails for walkers including the stunning Burren Way. For the less ambitious, a walk along the cliffs of Moher is very popular. There are winding coastal roads that can be explored by cyclists and for more adventure there are caves at Doolin and Ailwee, which makes an exciting day out for the whole family. With a wide variety of public houses and excellent restaurants offering ‘local fayre' this is a marvellous place to spend a holiday.
