Caroline was very helpful in providing a high chair and cafetiere and for keeping in touch to remedy shortcomings. However many issues to be addressed by the owner - see below: House Book - the property would greatly benefit from having a house book as a guide to appliances, heating and general local amenities etc Fridge - broken lower shelf and seal. Had not been cleaned by owner staying previous week. It is also far too small for the house capacity which should be a consideration on replacement. TV - replaced on arrival but not able to be tuned. Fortunately we had no use for it given good weather Table Football - no ball and players broken so unusable. Appears to have been in that state for some time so why advertise it as a feature. Glasses - Not enough to make up a set of 6 of the same type Showers - 2 over baths should have a shower curtain/screen Towels - Ideally should be bath-sized Iron - leaks badly Oven Door - loose Keys - couldn't open patio doors. Set of 3 keys in basket did not work on any doors. Lights - some had blown. Fireplace - not set and no wood for first fire. Again not an issue for us but don't advertise it if it's not provided. Overall a pleasant property but above maintenance issues left poor impression to justify rental. NB Cleaniliness rating would have been better but for the state of the fridge on arrival.

The dishwasher wasn’t working on arrival and was replaced by Tuesday but given cost of rental would have expected better. Towel rails beside handbasins and toilet roll holders would have been nice. Also lots of dead light bulbs

.. Idyllic location and an absolutely stunning property. It was so clean and well presented this is our second time staying at this property and loved it just as much as the first time. Simply gorgeous.
