Dating back 200 years, this cottage has some of the original features from Lord Ventry's house; a fabulous free-standing bath, and the wood used to make the well-equipped kitchen, giving this Dingle cottage a charming country feel, with unique treasures throughout. Just a short walk from the beach, this Dingle cottage is ideal for those seeking a coastal getaway, and each morning you can make the most of your location enjoying a stroll along the sand before breakfast. Made up of two centres, both having a pub and shop, Ventry is a small village in County Kerry. Linked by Ventry Harbour, the two parts of the village are sheltered by the bay and have access to three miles of sandy beach allowing swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, diving or sunbathing. The surrounding region is renowned for its excellent walking and cycling routes, a large proportion of which begin and end in Ventry. Slightly further afield the vibrant town of Dingle, which provides a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants as well as an array of other activities. Oceanworld Aquarium and the town's museums are well worth visiting.
