All set on the ground floor you have the choice of four comfortable bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite, so everyone will be well catered for. You will also find a well-equipped kitchen and dining area alongside a sitting room with an additional dining table and a solid fuel stove, perfect for curling up in front of with a good book while you warm your toes. With the sun shining open up the patio doors in the sitting room and enjoy the fresh sea breeze and spectacular views while sipping on a refreshing drink whilst the children run around in the garden. Take a walk into Cahersiveen and have a pint with the locals or take a night off from cooking in one of the restaurants. Wander down to the marina or take the ferry across to Valentia Island. Hop in the car and travel further afield, visit Portmagee to venture on boat trips to Skellig Michael and the Skellig Islands where parts of Star Wars: The Force Awakens was filmed. Iveragh Peninsula boasts plentiful lakes, woodlands and beaches along the coastline. Killarney National Park is also a wonderful spot to visit with many walks and photo opportunities on offer. While in the area why not complete the Ring of Kerry and take in the many sights along the way? This cosy little cottage provides guests with a perfect holiday base to return to after taking in the spectacular surrounding scenery that this busy town has to offer.

The lively coastal town of Cahersiveen, birthplace of Daniel O'Connell, is ideally situated aside the River Fertha, at the foot of the Beentee Mountain, in beautiful County Kerry. Renowned in the 1800s for the salting of Atlantic fish, today the town retains strong links with the ocean, boasting an excellent harbour and a superb marina offering sailing, trout and salmon fishing and deep-sea angling opportunities.
