The house was very spacious and clean. The only suggestion I have is instructions on how to use the shower. There was a red switch upstairs for the water downstairs and another outside of the ensuite bathroom by the door. When they aren't on there was no heat or water pressure. It was fine once we figured it out. All in all it was a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Bedroom door upstairs sticks. Not enough big pots or cutlery for 8/9 people. Quilts too small for double beds. Sink in kitchen very impractical.

We found the house poorly equipped for visitors. Not enough cutlery for 8 people dishes and plates old and shabby saucepans old and worn. The rubbish bins left a lot to be desired in this day and age. We had to do our own recycling ( bring recycling to a centre). No oil fired central heating (in Summer) even though it was quite cold at night. And the website stated it had oiled fire heating. Both showers were useless. The upstairs one was in a jacuzzi bath( that did not work) with a slanted roof over the bath so you could not stand up. The downstairs shower was broken and very difficult to turn on and off. There was one day we could not turn off the water at all and had to call the owner. The owner made no attempt to contact us during our stay. It was up to us to contact her regarding different things in the house. Will not recommend this house to family or friends.
