Resting along Ireland’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way, this traditional cottage is just over a mile from the picturesque beach at White Strand and is a superb base for discovering all that the West Coast has to offer. Boasting four comfortable bedrooms, you can enjoy a good night’s sleep after an exhilarating afternoon along the majestic Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s most popular attractions. There is also a fitted kitchen and dining area to enjoy home-cooked meals together with your loved ones. Upstairs, you will find a spacious open plan sitting area complete with a small dining area and open fire with fantastic views out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Sliding doors from the dining area lead out into the lawned garden where you can relax with a refreshing drink, whilst planning the next day’s activities. There is also a front patio with furniture, a special place to sit and unwind with a good book and enjoy the stillness of the countryside. The thriving town of Miltown Malbay is home to a charming selection of traditional pubs, most of which showcase live Irish music on a regular basis, the perfect way to kick start your holiday! Each year the town hosts the Willie Clancy Festival, a superb week of music, dance and ‘craic’! Miltown Malbay also boasts a wonderful selection of shops and eateries. With so much to see and do in the region, it’s no wonder tourists flock here each year, including the seaside village of Lahinch, home to a Blue Flag beach, surfing, golf and much more. The pretty town of Miltown Malbay is located close to the Atlantic coast in County Clare, and is only an hour from Shannon Airport. Famed for its traditional Irish music, it is home to the Willie Clancy music festival, which is held in July, however visitors will find fabulous live music in many pubs and bars whatever the time of year. Miltown Malbay is close to some excellent beach resorts, including Lahinch, Spanish Point and Doonbeg, all of which are well worth a visit for their relaxed vibe and great surf, not to mention their excellent golf courses. The Burren National Park to the north of the town is a mecca for walkers and nature lovers with its unique geological landscapes and rich colourful wildflowers. Also to the north you will find the striking Cliffs of Moher, which rise majestically out of the ocean and are best appreciated from one of many boat trips departing nearby.
