So I ended up walking up/downstairs a lot.The bed is on a slant, the rubbish is not explained well. The rubbish is collected weekly, one week rubbish next week recycling. When we got there, the rubbish bin was full. Leaving bags out, meant the wind blew it around the garden. What a nightmare, upstairs shower is absolutely rubbish. No Internet, if cost us £95 on Internet. So happy the little ones didn't stay, it would have been a holiday from hell. The tv didn't have a lot of channels as stated and was tiny. It's a beautiful home, but for that amount of money, you would expect what you paid for. WiFi shouldn't be in add as its not included. I'm coming to kilkenny 3 times a year, but will be looking for somewhere else next time.

Spacious, beautifully fitted out, light and airy, clean and comfortable, very well equipped. Just one issue. The WiFi was patchy and unreliable so we couldn't use it.

The house was a really nice place to stay when we first booked it a few years ago but just now it is a bit tired and in need of some updating. The television is very difficult to use and we had no access to any more than 5 channels, we couldn't access any BBC, ITV or Channel 4 television for example. Our bedroom (the master bedroom) had an ensuite shower which worked only in a dribble and a lavatory which gave off a "sewagy" smell, our towels were clean but had the smell clothing can develop when it hasn't beed dried properly or quickly enough. All in all our stay was a bit disappointing this time but with some updating and attention the accommodation could be upgraded to be a very nice place to stay. Its unlikely that we will book to use the house again though.
