Further afield is the fishing village of Kilmore Quay which also boasts many beaches and other amenities. This tremendous, majestic house is located in a well-cultured, beautiful part of Ireland. The small village of Tacumshane in County Wexford has a pub and restaurant, The Millhouse, and is home to the Republic of Ireland's only windmill. The windmill is now a national monument. This part of County Wexford has plenty to offer - Tacumshane Lake is a favourite with anglers and birdwatchers, there are golf courses, and the coastal walking path is easily reached. Kilmore Quay fishing village is a few miles away, and there are some lovely beaches, ideal for relaxing and playing on the sand. The county town of Wexford is under 10 miles away, and offers plenty of amenities including shops, bars and good restaurants.
