The village of Kilmore is just a short drive from the traditional fishing village of Kilmore Quay and the entire area is peppered with picturesque thatched cottages, sandy beaches and peaceful, rural roads, perfect for exploring either on foot or by bike. With Rosslare ferry port less than half an hour’s drive away, the cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Sunny South East of Ireland. Why not visit the heritage town of Wexford, only nine miles away and home to a lovely selection of shops, eateries and traditional pubs, or take a boat trip to the Saltee Islands, home to an impressive wildlife sanctuary?
