Rosslare Harbour is close by and has bars, restaurants and shops, along with cliff walks and horse riding. Within a 30 minute drive are activities such as a boat trip to the Saltee Islands, angling trips, a visit to the haunted Loftus Hall, Hook Lighthouse, Tintern Abbey and Johnstown Castle.
