The town is famous for the arts and the Glens Centre regularly showcases plays, music and other performances. There are also many summer festivals and visitors can explore the history of the area in the ruins of Manorhamilton Castle. Further afield, explore the Marble Arch Cave system, the Cavan Burren near Blacklion, as well as quality restaurants in the town. Fishermen are spoilt for choice with many Loughs and rivers in the locality with plentiful stocks. There’s also ample opportunity for watersports for those seeking an adrenaline kick! Manorhamilton Castle, now a ruin, has been transformed into an interesting visitor attraction, while other fascinating places to visit include the Leitrim Sculpture Centre and the Famine Graveyard. Visit Glencar Waterfall or take a scenic drive round the Erne Waterway. Explore the towns and villages of the area including Rosses Point, Strandhill and Bundoran and experience several golf courses, horse riding stables and lovely beaches.
