With plenty of room on offer, this cottage is an excellent base for large groups of friends and family to come and explore the west coast of Ireland. Set over two floors, with six en-suite bedrooms upstairs, you can rest assured that there is plenty of room at the inn. To your left when you enter the property you will find a well-equipped kitchen, great for preparing a delicious meal after a day down by the sea, complete with a breakfast bar and a small dining table. While off to the right you will enter the spacious living room with a multi-fuel stove set in a traditional stone fireplace and a dining area which looks out to the sea. Out to the front of the property there is a raised decked area complete with table and chairs, perfect for watching the last of the day fade over the Atlantic, while you enjoy a relaxing drink. With Tully just a short way down the road you won’t be stuck if you need to grab something from the shop or to stop for a pint with the locals. Or if you’re a fan of scuba diving, next door to your holiday home you will find a scuba diving school which offers a range of activities from island dive safaris and wreck diving. Renvyle Peninsula offers a great escape from day to day life and lets you absorb the fresh sea air with long stretches of sandy beaches and places to visit such as Derryinver Quay and Ballinakill Harbour. You can take a trip on a glass bottomed boat, try your hand at sea angling or take a trip to see a large variety of wildlife in the area including birds, grey seals and otters while crossing your fingers for a glimpse of dolphins and porpoises who are regular visitors. A fantastic seaside house to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

The seaside village of Tully sits on the picturesque Renvyle Peninsula, County Galway. The village lies on the Atlantic Ocean, and fishermen still land the daily catch on the small pier by the beach. The village has two bars, a post office, a supermarket and a horse-riding centre, as well as Teach Ceoil, a music house which holds traditional evenings of music each Tuesday evening during July and August.

Close to a beach, beautiful sunset, plenty of space within the house, adequate cooking equipment to feed 12 at a time, good sized bedrooms all with en suite facilities was a major plus. Also closeness to good pubs with fine guinness. Kathleen the owner was very helpful and welcoming.

I had really high expectations, and I can say with complete honesty that every last one of us was still blown away by our stay. It was the highlight of our week long trip to Ireland. The house was immaculate and had everything we could have possibly needed. It is significantly bigger than we were expecting and is very clearly loved by its owners. And nothing can prepare you for the setting. It is breathtaking. Just steps to what felt like a private beach, a short drive to Connemara NP, Killary Sheep Farm (it may sound crazy, but this was everyone's favorite stop, from 78 year old to 8 year old... I'd call it a must visit especially when there are lambs), Killary Fjord, Kylmore Abbey, Paddy Coyne's Pub (our favorite of the MANY we visited), Purple Door Cafe, and more. I can't thank Kathleen enough for being so helpful and for offering to turn the lights on for us when we ended up getting in after dark (not sure we'd have found it otherwise!). This is an absolute gem of a house and a stunner of a location. We plan on coming back as soon as possible and staying for longer the next time around. You will not be disappointed!!!

The house is so beautiful, spotlessly clean, with the most breath-taking view of Glassilaun beach. Such a stunning location and situated right at the entrance to the beach. The owner, Kathleen, was so lovely! Thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!
