About this property

Tully 6.5 miles. An excellent County Galway cottage located on the Renvyle Peninsula on the edge of Lough Fee. Situated amongst the characteristic Connemara countryside, with fantastic views on offer right from the front door, this property is ideal for family and friends who want to get away from the stresses of day-to-day life. Set entirely on the ground floor, with four bedrooms on offer, there’s also a well-equipped kitchen to the back of the property, great for putting together a hearty breakfast in preparation of a day discovering the local area. To the front of the property is a comfortable sitting room complete with a solid fuel stove where you can toast your toes and doze off after a tasty dinner. With the sun out, take yourself outside and enjoy a well-earned drink in the summer’s breeze whilst looking across the lough, reading a good book or overseeing the little ones playing in the garden. Head out for a bike ride, lace up your walking boots and explore the stunning surrounding countryside or take yourself to the beautiful Lettergesh Beach to dip your toes in the Atlantic. Tully is just little further down the road, so you’ll not be stuck if you want to stop in for a pint with the locals or need to pick something up from the shop. Other attractions and activities are available nearby such as the increasingly popular Wild Atlantic Way, which has some truly spectacular views and is well worth a trip, and the scenic Connemara National Park with its pretty ponies and wealth of wild flowers. The town of Clifden is also worth a visit, with a range of pubs, cafes and restaurants for you to sample and shops where you can find a trinket to remember your trip. Whatever you have planned, this Connemara cottage is sure to inspire.

The seaside village of Tully sits on the picturesque Renvyle Peninsula, County Galway. The village lies on the Atlantic Ocean, and fishermen still land the daily catch on the small pier by the beach. The village has two bars, a post office, a supermarket and a horse-riding centre, as well as Teach Ceoil, a music house which holds traditional evenings of music each Tuesday evening during July and August. A wonderful base for a relaxing Irish holiday.
