About this property

Enjoying a great location with picture-perfect views is this charming mid-terrace house, overlooking the Conwy marina and estuary, Castle View is a hidden gem. Discover the wonders of North Wales from this homely base, being within easy reach of Conwy and Llandudno, as well as the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Follow up eight steps to the front door, past the stylish decking with outdoor sofa seating, and head inside to the sitting room to be welcomed to plush seating and a Smart TV, set before the homely electric fire. This room enjoys a contemporary style which continues through into the kitchen, where a host of appliances can be found, including a fridge, freezer, electric oven and induction touch hob, for all your cooking needs. Perch at the dining area in here too before the patio doors, or step outside and enjoy a morning coffee on the rear patio for some outdoor privacy, with the rear gate at the end of the sloped garden affording easy access to a short walk to the shop and pub. Upstairs you can expect to find two beautifully presented bedrooms, a king-size and a single, with matching furnishings and plenty of storage, with the master bedroom offering lovely views out onto the water and the neighbouring historic town. Completing the property is the lovely bathroom, with a three-piece suite against the white tiles, it is a bright space to feel refreshed. Once you have got settled you can start planning your adventures in the area, and get to know the local amenities, with Deganwy being home to both shops and pubs for all your essentials. Over in Conwy you can expect to discover a whole host of restaurants and pubs tucked into old buildings and along the winding streets, all under the imposing shadow of Conwy Castle, a must-see World Heritage Site which has been exceptionally preserved since it was built more than 700 years ago. Up in Llandudno you can stroll along the Victorian Llandudno Pier and enjoy the arcades and amusements, and lounge on North Shore Beach on a sunny day. Cyclists and walkers will enjoy incorporating the Little and Great Orme on the Llandudno headland into their routes, taking your binoculars with you to watch out for local seals on the shores. The spectacular Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is a wonderful place to find fun-filled activities, with great attractions like Zip World Forest located just outside the brilliant village of Betws-y-Coed. Castle View is a lovely base for enjoying a North Wales adventure with your loved ones.

Deganwy is a town set on the banks of the River Conwy, just at the mouth of the estuary, and facing towards the historic town of Conwy itself. Just like Conwy it has a marina and a selection of shops and pubs, however its castle, built in 1082 was demolished so only ruins remain. There are many activities to delight in during your stay here, including fishing trips, walking along the coast or in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Surf Snowdonia, exploring Conwy and many more.

It's perfectly situated for walking, or just taking in the view of the estuary and mountains. A real home from home. Thank you owners

We would have liked firmer mattresses on the beds, but still slept well, must be the sea air !!!! It's certainly a property we will use again. Thank you to the owners for making it such a good holiday home

Lovely accommodation. Just few shortfalls. Only one bedside light. Pillows on bed low quality. Others visitors had said certain things needed fixing, re stove light.... but not replaced. For safety purposes, needs a hand rail in bath as shower over bath. Also be good to have one to step out from bath on right of wall. Hard running a place as we well know having done it for years. Good luck to the owners.
