Louisburgh 0.5 miles. An extremely comfortable detached cottage, located half a mile outside the popular town of Louisburgh, County Mayo. Well-equipped and furnished to a good standard, Springwood Cottage provides family and friends with a fantastic base for touring this part of the world, and is within walking distance of the beach. Four comfortable bedrooms, including two doubles on the ground floor and one with en-suite facilities, offer an inviting place to retire to after a fun filled day of exploring the west of Ireland. The sitting room has a welcoming open fire, where you can relax after a sunny stroll along the sandy beach, enjoy a good book, or simply sit back with a movie. To the rear of the property you will come to the kitchen with dining area, and when the sun is out why not open up the patio doors and enjoy the cool summers breeze? Wander down to the beach, and dip your toes in the Atlantic waters or head into town and have a drink with the locals. Further afield, visit the charming town of Westport, or why not give yourself a challenge and climb to the top of Croagh Patrick Mountain? There are plenty of walks and cycling routes all over County Mayo, and youre on the world famous Wild Atlantic Way which begs to be explored with its spectacular scenery. A lovely holiday cottage that will not disappoint.
Louisburgh is a small town in County Mayo, surrounded by rural scenary, with three Blue Flag beaches, along with being close to Sheaffrey and Mweelrea Mountains. You may wish to take a ferry from Roonagh Pier to Clare Island, or maybe enjoy the traditional Féile Chois Cuain, a May Bank Holiday music festival.

Communication with the friendly owner was great. Had supplies of pretty much everything we needed. Some kind of stair gate for kids / families would make it perfect but would understand if this isnât possible, we was able to create stair gates from the furniture provided

Everything you could wish for and great views out to sea in distance and wonderful views of the reek, the beautiful mountain. It's a home from home experience. The owner Donna is only a phone call away and very helpful if you do need to contact her.

The accomodation was super comfortable, had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves and was really well located to all of what beautiful Ireland has to offer. The Host was amazing always available to us, very communicative. If you are looking for a wonderful holiday accomodation then you cant beat this :-)
